CONVENIENTLY LOCATED

Located in Little India or ‘Tekka’ as it is most commonly known, is an ethnic Tamil neighborhood that showcases the Indian culture, together with architecture from Colonial Singapore. Situated along Race Course road, which is famous for its myriad of north and south Indian restaurants, travelers and guests from Vintage Inn need only to step outside to be invigorated by the aroma of the various spices used in daily cooking for delicacies such as curry and tandoori.

How to get to Vintage Inn:

BY TAXI:

A taxi ride from the airport will take approximately 25 minutes, and the fare will be about S$20 – S$30, depending on the time as different surcharges may apply. Inform the driver that your destination is 60 RACE COURSE ROAD, and that the hostel is located next to Banana Leaf Restaurant.

BY TRAIN / METRO:

a. Walk to Changi Airport Station (CG2).

b. Board the train towards Tanah Merah Station, and alight at Tanah Merah Station (EW4 – 2 stops later).

c. Board the train towards Joo Koon Station, and alight at Outram Park Station (EW16 – 12 stops later).

d. At Outram Park station, switch to the Purple Line and board the train that is heading towards Punggol Station. Alight at Little India Station (NE7 – 4 stops later)

e. At Little India Station, head out of the station via Exit ‘E’.

f. Upon exiting the station, make a right, and walk straight for 200m (Vintage Inn is located to the left of ‘BANANA LEAF RESTAURANT’ ).

For shoppers, our location is just 5 minutes away from Mustafa Centre, a 24-hour mega mall and Singapore’s First Eco Mall – City Square Mall. Between these two malls, one would be able to find a huge assortment of products and services that ranges from electronics, to clothes, to food and snacks, and even a 24-hour money changer, and many, many more!

Feel free to explore the wonderful places of worship such as Hindu and Buddhist temples around our area. As each temple is unique and different in its own way, one will be able to appreciate the myriad of artworks and statues that portray the many different Gods and Goddesses of the Hindu Religion.

With the hostel located in the central of Singapore, many tourist attractions such as the Orchard Road shopping district, Chinatown, The Esplanade, Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Clarke Quay, which caters to the Singapore Night life, and the Sentosa Island, can be reached within minutes via Singapore’s Train System. For the more adventurous travellers, Vintage Inn is also walking distances away from the Town center and the Central Business District of Singapore, and to cultural locations such as Arab Street and Bugis Village.

Things to Eat:

Located on the right of Vintage Inn, is Singapore’s most famous South Indian restaurant known as Banana Leaf Restaurant. Having been around for 40 years, they have catered to locals and tourists alike, who go over to indulge in the ever famous Fish Head Curry, along with their other well known dishes.

Located to the left of Vintage Inn is Aromas of India, a restaurant that provides North Indian Dishes such as Naan Bread, Butter Chicken and many others. Their rich and creamy dishes will be sure to whet your appetite. Did we also mention that guests from Vintage Inn get to enjoy a 25% discount with them!

‘Tekka Market’, is a food centre as well as a market where one can find authentic and cheap local Chinese, Malay & Indian dishes. And it is located just 5 minutes away!
